You will be working in a dynamic role on the Content Operations team under the direction of the Programming team to execute and track merchandising tactics on the TELUS & Koodo mobile portals and storefronts.

What you will do

• Develop any required banner artwork for the mobile browsers for the TELUS & Koodo and on web portals as needed
• Develop mobile sites & merchandising-specific designs for various platforms
• Work closely with Operations team to QA all deployments, troubleshooting and gather metrics
• Document the flows and wireframes, layouts, etc
• Maintain style guides for internal/external partner use
• Seek approvals & gather art assets for design as required from stakeholders
• Incorporate approved editorial text (English and French) into designs
• Provide creative and functional design solutions as needed adhering to guidelines
• Pre and post-deployment QA; upkeep & refresh as determined by Programming
• Work with Product Development to support experience across multiple device-types
• Support troubleshooting and help maintain the browser portals as needed

What you know

• Post-secondary education in design, computer science, or related field
• 2-3 years graphic design experience and knowledge of best practices in Web design
• Experience with HTML, XHTML, XML, Java Script, Photoshop, Illustrator, GIF, JPG
• Working knowledge of web architecture, implementation, design & layout
• Previous experience developing WAP & mobile sites an asset
• Understanding of mobile content, mobile & data devices
• Familiarity with Drutt MSDP or other Content Management Systems a plus
• Ability to work autonomously with little supervision
• Ability to prioritize work, multi-task and meet deadlines
• Ability to communicate creative concepts clearly & take feedback for revisions
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, English & French preferred
