Return of Open Studio….with a minty boost

If you’ve ever been on the road with your iPod or cellphone running precariously low on power, this is the evening project for you! At this Open Studio, Pearl Chen shows us how to build a “Minty Boost” – a battery-powered alternative to charging your electronic devices that fits inside an Altoids gum tin. If you want to build one from a kit, Pearl has 20 of them for $20 each. You just need to bring a cool tin to put it all in.
