Job Title: Coordinator, Interactive
Description: Earth Rangers is an innovative, dynamic and fast-growing organization which mandate is to inspire kids to act to protect the environment.

The Coordinator, Interactive will be responsible for regular updates to the Earth Rangers web sites (corporate and kids sites), researching and writing new material, and understanding and maintaining a connection with the users and kids that are visiting the site. The ideal candidate will be creative, possess excellent organizational and communication skills and is aware of online trends and culture specific to our audience.

Key responsibilities:
- Write and organize content in preparation for the launch of 2 new
web sites, EarthRangers.org (corporate) and EarthRangers.com (Kids)
• Regular updates to Earthrangers.com and Earthrangers.org
• Image edits and small graphic work
• Create web pages using site templates, HTML
• Coordinate and schedule content and news for the site
• Copy editing to ensure all content is appropriate for the site
audience and consistent in tone and manner
• Responding to web email/inquires in the appropriate tone and manner
• Research and write new content for the site
• Work closely with the Producer to ensure content is updated and
consistent with the site objectives
• Play an active role in site brainstorming and content improvement

Qualifications:
• The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years experience in
kids interactive media
• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Writing skills with previous experience writing for the web and Kids
• Must be proficient in MS Office, HTML, and Photoshop
• Experience with video editing and Adobe Premiere is an asset
• Strong organization skills with the ability to handle multiple
projects and prioritize as necessary
• Detail-oriented and accountable for deadlines and quality of work
• Demonstrated team-work values
• Strong familiarity with online culture, activities and trends
• Strong passion for the environment, kids online and interactive
• Bilingual (English and French) is an asset
